By using creative art as a tool we aim to engage, inform and spark innovation on our collective outlook to re-imagine existing business models and lifestyles to be more environmentally conscious and create a world in which the ecosystems sustain all life on earth – including people, plants, and animals – are valued and endure for generations to come.

Our art for conservation programme runs a project dubbed “Fahamisha" which is the Swahili name for 'To inform'.It has various art platforms that offer different perspectives: Nexus Dicey board game on climate change and biodiversity, Nature Alphabets, Hunt Me Not conservation comic series, environmental education posters and 'Let's Go Wild' kids colour book to raise awareness on conservation fused with aspects of human way of life. Additionally, The Laikipian operates The Nature Shop:- an online marketplace dedicated to showcasing creative individuals and promoting sustainable products that are both innovative and eco-friendly. .
Project“Fahamisha.”


The Laikipian designed Mending Fences, a 2 part Comic series on human elephant conflict. LWF Printed 1000 copies for each series for distribution in Laikipia to raise awareness on areas prone to Human Wildlife Conflict. LWF also were also the distributing partners of the 3000 copies of Environmental comic to primary and secondary schools across Laikipia.


Deigned education Posters for Save the Elephant on: -Elephant Poster: This is an outline of an elephant with facts about how the elephant supports ecosystems. -A-Z Wildlife Alphabet Poster with each letter of the alphabet representing a wildlife found in Samburu or an African animal -Science Poster - of a savannah ecosystem, perhaps a savannah, showing how different animals interact. Save The Elephants also purchased 400 copied of Let’s Go Wild Colour book for distribution in schools .
2000 copies distributed for free in the Maasai Mara ecosystem, after successful crowd-funding with the partners .
